LIMEHOUSE LIZZY
at the AXIOM

Andy Fox Drummer of Limehouse Lizzy

On Wednesday 30th June 1999 I went to the AXIOM to see a tribute band to THIN LIZZY called LIMEHOUSE LIZZY. From the moment the lead singer sang the first note I was astounded by how much he sounded like PHILIP LYNOTT.

The line-up for the band was:-

They performed a great mix of album tracks and singles which included, JOHNNY THE FOX, JAILBREAK, THE ROCKER, THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN, WHISKEY IN THE JAR, and my favourite track BAD REPUTATION.

At the end of the evening no one wanted the band to finish, some one even shouted "play it all again" which made the band laugh. Needless to say I shall go and see them again when I get the chance.
